We have our own spectacle laboratory here on site. This means we can offer a one hour service for distance or reading lenses. (For most prescriptions) If we are reglazing into your own frame, we will advise you how long we will require your frame for. We can also do minor repairs on site.
When you purchase a new pair of spectacles with us you don’t see everything that is included with your glasses.
All new spectacles include a hard case, cleaning cloth and aftercare to ensure maximun length of service.
What You Don’t See
Repair Service
If you have broken your spectacles we can usually repair them on the premises immediately. More complicated repairs such as solders or replacement joints can be sent away and returned in a few days for a small charge. (Usually no more than £25)
Temporary Repair Service
If you have broken your side and can’t manage without your spectacles, we will normally be able to fit a temporary side so you can use your glasses while we order a replacement.
If you have completely broken your spectacles but your lenses are reusable, we can sometimes re-cut your old lenses into a new frame.
